What’s Eating Tristan Meecham is a podcast about identity, faith and how people with divergent beliefs can find common ground.

Tristan Meecham is a performance artist and Artistic Director of All the Queens Men. Through a relational engagement practice, he co-designs creative projects that improves access not only to arts experiences but to broader community health and social services. He has become a leading creative voice within the LGBTI+ community nationally and internationally.

Residency Outcome

Perhaps we play ‘Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon’, a game that speculates that any two people on Earth are six or fewer acquaintance links apart? Movie buffs challenge each other to find the shortest path between an arbitrary actor and prolific actor Kevin Bacon. We should find a path between arbitrary actor (Tristan Meecham) and his prolific counterpart in Utah.

We’re unsure if it’s about the journey or the destination?

Either way in this residency, we have found ourselves discussing empathy, politics, libertarianism, 5G, cancel culture, privilege, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Kevin Bacon, religion, marriage, the internet, palindromes, and rabbit holes.
